Audio Metadata Inspector
Inspect file properties, decoded technical audio properties, RIFF/WAV technical chunks and common ID3v2 text fields without uploading the source.
What this tool verifies
Build 111 reports browser file properties and decoded audio facts, then performs bounded raw-byte inspection for RIFF/WAVE technical chunks and common ID3v2 text frames such as title, artist, album, year, track and genre.
Important metadata limitation
A file can decode successfully even when its container metadata is not parsed here. Build 111 does not claim full MP4/M4A atom parsing, FLAC Vorbis-comment parsing, embedded artwork extraction, chapters, ReplayGain, arbitrary vendor fields or forensic authenticity analysis.
Why decoded and container values can differ
The browser decoder reports the audio stream it actually decoded. Raw container fields describe stored headers/tags. A malformed, unusual or transcoded source can therefore produce incomplete or different evidence.
Privacy
The selected file is read locally in the browser. No server upload is required.
